dei nastri: |
it
was danced in noble families during holiday periods. This dance is
performed with coloured ribbons that corrispond to the coluores of

the girls worked. |

It's
a vivacious dance, with rapid movements. A big importance is taken
by the two groups of dancers, the female and the male one. |
| Saltarello: |
It's
a typical dance of "Ciociaria", with an ancient latin
origin that comes from latin "saltatus". It has a very
rapid movements and an hopping walk. It is danced in couple or groups. The
dancers are closed with arms on the shoulders eachothers; the bodies
are a little bent. In this position it seems that legs and feet
never leave the ground. The name can change in the different part
of Ciociaria, but doesn't change the characteristic movement.
The
salterello of Alatri was invented by Mr Flavio Fiorletta( using
a particular kind of pasta to imagine dancers).
