Costumes

 

The costumes reproduce exactly our forbears' ones and were created thanks to the oleographs of the Neapolitan painter Filippo Balbi, who lived in Alatri during the nineteenth century.

They are characterized by the "ciocia", a typical leather footwear, from which the name of our region is taken (Ciociaria, land of ciocia).

Another characteristic object is the "conca", a copper receptacle used to take water from the fountain.
